If you own a personal domain, you cannot post or set up SPF records for your domain, but you can send e-mails from your laptop no matter where they are. A better solution would be to set up your own SMPT server that accepts e-mail from your laptop via POP-before-SMPT or SASL AUTH, so that you can still publish a more restrictive SPF record.
If you are a customer of an ISP that publishes SPF entries, your ISP should provide you with an SMPT server that you can authenticate with either POP-before-SMPT or SASL AUTH. You can also ask your ISP to exclude you from the SPF using a custom “exists” mechanism.
